Coolest Hot Springs
By Maria Criselda Pamela A. Galindez

Hot springs in the Philippines boomed in Laguna. It is known as tourists’ attractions for the past decades. But ever wonder where the coolest hot springs in the world is? Coolest, meaning the hippest and popular among others. I found it, the Thermae Bath, Banff Upper Hot Springs, Pamukkale, Chena Hot Springs and Calistoga Hot Springs.

Thermae Bath Spa in Bath, England is known for its historical splash because of its only natural thermal springs. Originally, the water has fallen as rain 10,000 years ago. The water surfaces at a red hot 1133F but the spa’s intimate Cross Bath and rooftop New Royal Bath are a comfy 93F.

Banff Upper Hot Springs promises a soothing temperature 98F-104F with a blast of sulphate which is good for the skin and filled with calcium, magnesium, sodium and bicarbonate that is naturally came from aptly named Sulphur Mountain.

Pamukkale means “cotton castle” in Turkish, following the flowing water that is panoramic with gleaming white terraces of the pool. It is also known as the Sacred Pool for its 2,000 years old Greek and Roman antiques scattered on the pool’s floor, plus spring-fed water 94F. Pamukkale is located in Denzil, Turkey.

Chena Hot Springs offer a wide ticket to the aurora borealis on the so-called northern lights, neon-hued curtains of charged particles that dance across the late-night sky while soaking into the spring.

The Calistoga Hot Springs in Calistoga, California is a hangout place for mud bath lovers as well. It has an array of spas, form frayed-at-the0edges to five stars with 80F-102F geothermal pools and volcanic ash mud pits.

These are among our top five picks for the coolest hot springs in the West. The wonder of nature has been tremendous for us. Seeing these creations can vowed down to relax and enjoy life!
